October 2009 and Danny Fairbrass lands Gigantica's largest resident - the Giant at 72lb. He'd already had several 40's and a 50 before catching the Giant on his final night.

Gigantica, the carp lake in France owned by Danny Fairbrass, boss of Korda.

Gigantica is one of the top carp fishing lakes in France and is 35 acres in size and 3.5 hours from the Calais ferry. It contains a massive head of large carp... at least 600+ carp, including lake record huge carp, THE GIANT @ 72lbs 8oz and at least three 60's, fifteen 50's and forty 40's... we have photo's of over 50 different carp above 40 pounds.
