This is a water spout that touched land long enough to be called a tornado. It was visible from the roof of my office building.

  • My dad and 2 brothers were at home ( literally one street up from the lake) and they called us from the neighbors cell phone as the house phone was out. He couldnt decide whether to leave the horses in the small field or turn them loose in the yard.

  • i grew up in tampa near plant city. I remember being at church helping my mom set up for some lady's dinner thing (about a 5 minute drive from Lake Thonotosasa) and noone showed up. Then our pastors wife called the church and she was like " GET IN THE BATHROOM THERE IS A WATERSPOUT ON THE LAKE AND IT MOVED ONTO LAND HEADING YOUR WAY!" we went outside and sure enough we could see it.

  • o shit i saw one in parkland florida even thicker than that and closer than 10 minutes running

  • i live in tampa... thats close..

  • no fucking lie i was there
