Machine Atlas Highlights

Shopfront's 2011 Major Project Machine Atlas was a unique performance event that was staged across 3 nights of August 2011 in Kogarah Town Square, Sydney. Australia. The project engaged over 120 young people in collaboration with 13 community organisations across St George, Sutherland and Western Sydney.

A fantastical vision for the future was created by young people with a team of artists exploring the things they would like to change about their life. Their stories and wild imaginings were transformed into songs, performance, animations, videos, sculptures, artworks, and dance.
