Are people really saying the Genesis version looked/sound better than SNES one? Come on, that's just pure fanboyism. Be honest with yourself and admit that the SNES version is just superior in looks and sound. I hold no hate for the Genesis version, but I hate it when fanboys try to proclaim their version is the best. No different from 360 and PS3 fanboys with multiplat games.

I like how the Genesis version has more of a video game feel to it, but the SNES hands down has the superior soundtrack, IMO. Sounds nearly like real music from a CD. Its sound chip was definitely put to the test with this game

@Bebo1026 "Better" is subjective. SNES had better graphics, but I prefer the music on the Genesis.
It would be "fanboyism" to assume any music could be superior to another. Preferences, yo.

People, be honest with yourselves. You have your opinion. SNES, Genesis, get over argueing between the two. They're both great. I've played both versions. I don't have a favorite. Let's agree on whether maximum carnage ITSELF is good or not. thumbs UP if you agree i's good. Comic, game, it deosn't matter. Either one works for me.

Gotta go with the snes version, although the one song I feel sounds really cool with the Genesis instruments is the "story interlude" song at 9:03

oddly enough i like the music of the genesis version sounds more retro and epic,snes is awesome but the upgraded sound to me is just blagh :P
