BoostLED™ Reef Lamps are designed with a highly efficient aluminum alloy heatsink to maximize cooling surface area and quickly dissipate heat. They are internally ballasted, and can be used with track style lighting fixtures or retrofitted into DIY fixtures without a power supply. With proper use, LED's have a lifespan that can last up to 50,000 hrs of use. BoostLED™ Reef Lamps run slightly warm to the touch due to the high power LED's. Definitely runs COOLER and LONGER than metal halides saving you money from frequent replacement of bulbs or running a chiller!

BoostLED™ Reef Lamps are made with high power Edixeon 3-watt LED's, which have high light output per watt and excellent color spectrum. These lamps are the best bang for the buck, in terms of quality and PAR output. We have used them on our own reef tanks and have had great coral growth and coloration for SPS, LPS, and softies.

Specs: Combination of Edixeon 3-watt LED's. Universal 110-240 Volts AC at 50/60Hz. E26/E27 Standard Socket (regular light bulb). Power Consumption: 10 watts. Low Profile Dimensions: 3.75″ diameter and 3.75″ in height. 40 and 60 Degree optics provide high PAR output with good light spread. Excellent coverage for a 12″x12″ area.

  • @ShizzlePDX503 Thanks for watching. I'm using a Vortech MP10es made by Ecotech Marine. Very good pump.

  • Great review on the Boost light. I have not decided on a light for the 36g yet but this one is very much in the running.

  • @adjusterfrank These will go perfect on the 36. Whats the dimensions? Probably 3 will work.

  • Great Review How many do you think i could get away with for my 120 gal tank its 60 x24x18.

  • @GarageReef It may be cheaper to go with their mu series for that size of tank. Will likely come out cheaper. Plus you get 10% off:) My guess would be 6-7 Par 30 for your tank. The Mu Series fixtures are $399 and 2 would work.

  • The fish store I go to "Cosmic Aquatics" built a sweet light fixture for his Par30's. He used copper tubing, so it's kind of has an old fashion vibe, hung it from the ceiling and ran the wires through the pipe. He has about 5 of these bulbs for a 100 gallon 3x5. I'll send you a picture next time I'm in.

  • @geppy71 That sounds really cool. Can't wait to see. Thats the cool thing about these. The customization is endless.

  • How many bulbs would you suggest for a 75 gallon?

  • hey how many of these could i run on a 75G ( 48 L 21H 18W) with mainly soft and LPS corals? thanks!

  • Can i use 3of these with dual t5 50/50 on a 75 gallon for corals

  • @krug1313 Hi, Sorry to go off topic but what filtration do you have in that nano? just for thought i can't see any in-tank filters or HOB filters nor overflow chambers for a sump?? thanks

  • How would this look over a 10 gallon tank?

  • @krug1313 Getting ready to build more plumbing in the tank! I have about two weeks of building going on before I update taking my time! I have spent three hundred dollars on the tank it self and it is slowly coming to gather one pay check at a time!!!!

  • I'm thinking of getting these later on when I get 200 dollars haha I saw some good LED clamp ons for 40 bucks each.
