@Cynon44 Show me the proof on the schedule that NASCAR scheduled a race date over the IndyCar date in Chicago. Indy race is always the weekend after labor day except the past 2 or 3 years, its been the weekend before. The cup race is at the end of September this year. Did you see the seats full at the last Indy Race...that is why you don't have a race this year. I haven't missed a race at Chicagoland of any series, and Indy cars are BY FAR the best auto racing I've EVER seen on oval tracks

@vindavison People like IndyCar because IndyCar can actually have a race, not a procession filled with artificially-placed "debris" yellows. NA$CAR races at Chicagoland are ALWAYS boring, whereas I really don't think Chicagoland has had a bad IndyCar race ... ever!

The main reason that IndyCar isn't coming back is because NA$CAR scheduled a race over the IndyCar date in order to force the IRL to back out of it's commitments to race here. I live about 2 hours away, and this is a case of NA$CAR being upset that IndyCar has better racing than they do at the same tracks. Shame.

I agree with khrisinfo. I live about 15 minutes from the speedway and I haven't missed a race there. I must say though without a doubt the indycars and indy lights are the best races there. I was worried that the night might change that but not at all. Still the best racing on the indycar circuit!

"I live in chicago Indy, Indycar rock, Becses indy car have an top of 200mph+, it lighter then 2000ILBs also they use E85 eothel, and firehawks over goodyearties. And Nascar SUCK at Chicago speed way and also Dragracing be mostly it only last for like 10sec per heart reace, Indycar is better yhen ALMS and LMS GT&LMP cars. Becuse Your indy can race on short oval and superspeedway oval like 100times over ,then LMS,&ALMS seris, but i would be 24hour indy car race maybe."(khrisinfo). Honda rock

Potekhen suffered a punctured tyre which is was sent him into Hinch and Bia. I feel for Hinch looking at his in-car camera, I bet that hurt for a second?!
