720p is 100% smooth in Firefox on my Pentium D 3ghz system, 1080p is not only choppy but almost makes my browser unresponsive.

will the Intel Pentium ULV Prozessor SU4100 (1.3 GHz), Dual-Core 1810tz beat 1080p?
-
try uninstalling the flash plugin and reinstalling it, worked for me :>

There should Intel Highend, and AMD midrange-lowrange, cause even their Sempron chips are better than celeron! Well now they have their Athlons for budget.

so is there any upgrade for this netbook so that it will play smooth 1080p videos on youtube?

@KlTAPUKE Yes, download Flash 10.1. It's still in Beta but it's working pretty well at the moment.

Question, what power profile was used? If using power saving or balanced, does switching to high performance improve anything?

I've tried both power saving and balanced (default) previously with 720P video and there was no difference. It's on balanced mode here (default out of the box).
