IMVU Hair Texture Turtorial GIMP 2.6

This is a turorial I made to help you out on making a hair texture for
IMVU. :) My IMVU user is: AdorkableCupcake ADD ME!!!!!!!

INSTRUCTIONS:
File/New/make it 256x256
CHOOSE YOUR MAIN COLOR (blonde. brunette, etc.)
Edit/Fill with FG color
USE BRUSH (w/e size you like)
Draw lines going across using a different color for highlights P.S. Use the shift to draw straight lines
Filters/Noise/RGB Noise/Make it at 0.50 (uncheck both check boxes)
Filters/Noise/Spread/Put it at max
Filters/Blur/Motion Blur/ANGLE: 90 LENGTH: 20
Filters/Blur/Gaussian Blur/Put it at 1
Filters/Enhance/Sharpen it to how you like

NOW FOR SHINE

Layer/New/256x256
USE BRUSH (what ever size) and draw straight lines going across (use white)
Filters/Blur/Gaussian Blur/ Put how you like (recommended: 20-ish or
a LITTLE over)
Filters/Noise/RGB Noise/Put it at 0.50 (uncheck both check boxes)
Filters/Blur/Motion Blur/ANGLE: 90 LENGTH: 20
