@babanachiket : No problem - we use that to add crispiness to the vada - you can leave it out but we suggest you try it with it as well.

Have you guys tried Ice-cream vada? It's cooked the same way, but instead of potato, it's Ice-cream filling. It's famous in some parts of Gujarat.

this is not original vada pav - pls go to mumbai or ask any mumbaikars . never add tamarind chatney in it. I know everyone has their own taste but this not the original.
