@sookyz, besides, the '00 model was presented, if I'm not mistaken, in November '99 and only went on sale in March '00, so if that date on the video is correct, that bike can't be a '00 model.

@sookyz, I wrote that because I had both a '99 and a '00 models and I can tell the difference. That is the dashboard of a '99 spec model.

@Module79L generally speaking with vehicles if it was made in june or later of a year, say june 1999, it will be shipped as a 2000. dont know if thats the case here, but sometimes for sure

People, you don't even have to look at the date on the video (which I believe is when this video was filmed) to figure out which model of R1 that is. I can assure you it's not a 2000 model. :-)
