Learned BBB easy! Thanks for tut!

So am I right in thinking that crotch style juggling is the same as pinball style that Komei aoki juggles.

This helped me a lot with BBB! Thanks Steve!

i found a good way to make your throws perfectly consistent (and thus aid with blind juggling) is to juggle while sitting down in an armchair, keeping your elbows glued to the arms. that way you're less inclined to reach out and catch those wild throws.

great tut. steve, im inspired to learn bbb now, im just wondering, what makes russian balls so good? do they feel different, do they feel easier to juggle, or etc.? im deciding to buy russian balls later =)

@kennyjuggling Russian balls make bbb easier, because they are partially filled which helps them slide right down your arms and into your hands.
I think russians are easier to throw and catch.. beanbags are too floppy, and stage balls are too bouncy.. This is just my preference though..

how durable are these? I am very interested in a nice looking russian style balls, but I have heard that the hot glue closure tends to break open relatively easily. I currently use ones made with tennis balls covered with balloons , filled with steel powder, and with rubber cement between the layers. Ugly but insanely durable.

depending on the quality of the play pit balls ordered, how well you can use a hot glue gun, and how intense your practice sessions are, it's hard to say for sure how long each ball will last...
but you can make hundreds of them for the same amount you would pay for a single set of professionally made russian balls, so I would say they last longer than long enough.

longer than long enough huh.lol. I beat the crap out of my props all day long. I juggle a lot over concrete and I throw my shuffles with quite a bit of force and that is my favorite pattern. I suppose I could figure out another way to make them. I favor industrial adhesives over hot glue. Thanks for the info. helpful as always.

well, I say they last "longer than long enough" based on how much they cost to make..
My practice sessions are pretty hardcore sometimes.. I've been using russians for about 6 months and I've never had any break on me yet, but I know they won't last forever..
