Native Instruments Maschine: Beat Breakdown 1 - Believe

So I'm starting a new series called Beat Breakdown. Basically I'll be re-creating some of my beats that were released over the last decade using my favorite tool, Maschine by Native Instruments. i have an important question. im new on the maschine, just wanted to know do you always use the same bars, or is it possible to have a sample at 4 bars...and then have a 1 bar loop to match it, im trying to sample somthing thats aproximatly 10 seconds long....but it seems to not match my drum patterns in sync?

@bambamltd That's more of a technique thing. If you're trying to make a "loop" fit into a particular pattern, you need to chop and replay it. Peep the video I did "Sampling from CPU", that'll help you out.

I'm JUST getting really started with machine, and finally serious and have time to do some real production with it, but still have to learn more basics, and some tricks. @ocmizzle i'm not necessarily sure that they're off beat. i'm sure it sounds that way because of how the kick and snare hit. Not the norm.
