Video of climate deniers brandishing a noose to German physicist Hans Schellnhuber who was presenting a talk on climate science at a climate conference at the University of Melbourne. Full video including how they also likened the scientist to Hitler at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGeUML...

Global photosynthesis has resulted in a static level of carbon dioxide in the global air for last 200 years! Local level rises over cities are too insignificant to affect anything.

Considering CO2 levels have risen by 40% over the last 200 years, this is a demonstrably false statement.

rxc128, well, I'm not heavily invested. I'm convinced that humans are causing global warming because of the multiple lines of empirical evidence published in the peer-reviewed literature. If you consider peer-reviewed empirical evidence as foolish, what do you base your scientific opinions on?

Well, that is a wonderful demonstration of the mentality that is at work here: Since the challenger cannot argue the science, string up the scientists, and the whole problem of global warming will go away!

Classy. :( what has the world come to?

Right wing blogs and moneyed ideologues will have a lot to answer for when the first climate scientist meets with the "accident" that I'm sure is only a matter of time. Shame on you. Shame on you all!

In the Jurassic there were no fossil fuels but global average carbon dioxide levels were still limited by photosynthesis! There was 65% more life on earth. Today A global average carbon dioxide levels is so average two parts per million around the world. And has been so cells fell at the end of the little ice age. Are you are mentally deficient? Think photosynthesis!
