I've started taking ritalin some months ago. And it works very good. Every aspect of life which I have struggeled with, has improved. Im finally able to actually controll and motivate my life. To bad I didn't found out before...
But if none of the medications don't work for you. Then don't take them.

@TiredSouls Blame your doctor. They should never give children dexedrine. You should have gotten ritalin/adderal/concerta/strattera, or at least have tested all of them, before ever be given dexedrine. You were mistreated, and that is not Barkley's fault. I have ADHD, and ritalin has made my life alot easier.

@ 6 yrs old i was diagnosed with ADHD, given Dexedrine for 7 years. This was a living nightmare for me. NEVER GIVE ANY CHILDREN THIS DRUG!! If your child has ADHD put them in a specialized school that caters to kids with ADHD instead of giving them drugs. When i was 6 i would have loved for my opinion to be heard, i never wanted the pills but was forced to take them by my parents and especially my school. This man is a fool. He can study ADHD but he will never live it like i do.
