@SquashAndMammoth Yes of course they have, but the way it is portrayed is science fiction. The best we can do in terms of Hud goggles are miniature screens(google RECON MOD) and no transparent overlays yet( but that should only take maybe another decade). In terms of Night and Thermal vision the ENVG is currently the best thing available, but that is still far from being integrated into a regular pair of goggles.

I sear to god when I first saw this video back in the day, I thought it was the trailer to Modern Warfare 2 until the Air force thing at the end came up.

If you look closely there are laser beams in the background. Clearly not real. Still a nice ad, though.
