New Years 2009 - Celebratory Gunfire in Dallas, Texas

Fireworks and celebratory gunfire recorded on the border between Dallas and Garland, Texas. The amount of gunfire was way down compared to previous years, probably due to the introduction of a $4,000 fine in Dallas if you're caught shooting a gun.

The recording begins just before midnight on December 31, 2008 and continues until a few minutes after midnight on January 1, 2009. Some editing was done to reduce the duration of the video. I chose the sections containing the most gunfire. As I said before, the amount of gunfire was way down compared to previous years.
