Some favorites include similar concepts, like Beautiful mind, Vanilla Sky, Inception, memento, and this? not even in the same league. So finding out this got 4 out of 5 is disheartening, and now have serious trust issues with the schmoes rating system damnit. Kind of like when you see a top rated video, only to find you have been rick rolled. Watched Adjustment Borough right after, and thought it was far superior, even with it being a slower movie. Amazed you gave it 3 stars and this 4

response 2 - This movie should have taken itself WAY more serious, and minus most of the cheese if not all.. Oh and the effects? common guys it's 2011, its not like your trying to mimic an ape here, your making fire, explosions, and trying to suck us into this back and forth world... One thing that did both surprise and amazed me though, was the Orchestra playing throughout the movie, WOW! Im not even an Orchestra kind of guy, but that was some bad ass emotion coming through those instruments!

response 1 - wow I can't believe you guys got sucked in, I was high and STILL thought it was terrible... I remember loving the build up at the beginning from the opening credits, so excited and totally into it, but man did that diminish and get bad quick. This was a very cool concept, but the writing BLOWED HARD. SO many cheesy lines, cheesy humor that didn't work, and lack of chemistry. It felt like there were some cool writers with one douchebag inserting his weak shit.
