  • This song is so special to me, My Mom died last year, I am the baby of a large family, and when my brother and sisters would leave for school, My Mom would make me this special breakfast and sing this song to me......I miss my Mother so much. I LOVE YOU MOM!!!!

  • Great music what a talent. Just a fun little song. To few of them now every body has to have a deep meaning when we just need to lighten up a bit.

  • My baby brother's name is Tim and mother used to sign this song to him, singing Timbo. As he spent his last hours in the hospital dying of lung cancer, my other 2 brothers, my husband and i sat by his side and reminded him that mother used to sing this song to him when he was little. It was such a bittersweet memory. I love you Timbo!

  • c est très vieux

  • Classic gold!!!

  • Why does Jim remind me of Johnny Carson?

  • Jebus H..........does ANYONE know who the bass player is? I think it's been asked like 5 times.

  • @ThomasStedter Racist? I think you mean sexist..........and no it wouldn't (or shouldn't). Unless the person labelling it sexist is some kind of bloody feminazi. In which case their opinion amounts to the signifigance of a goldfish pissing in the ocean.

  • Simply amazing. Most bands today would be hard pressed to sound this good in the studio, not to mention live. Perfect instrumentation and balance with flawless performances by all involved. I like how this version is different than the recorded single, with the bassist singing harmony and the guitar player playing a slightly different lead than the pedal steel on the record. The mic technique used by Jim and the bassist is amazing - you rarely see open mics like that these days.

  • @kumarambrose I recall listening to Jim Reeves quarter hour with my mom. I think it was Friday night 8.45 pm before news and at 2.30 pm house wives choice week days. Nice Memories

  • This reminds me of my late mom when I was a child back in Sri lanka. We listen to him together and Jim Reeves became my favorite singer too.
