Hand painter and visual artist, Marc Eckel paints a portrait of Jesus Christ in the middle of the most densely populated areas of Tondo, Manila, Philippines. New Life Christian Center, Alabang together with New Life, Tondo brings this moving performance amidst the bleakness of this poverty stricken place. The video vividly captures the color of the painting contrasted against the grayness of the Tondo slums and the dump site. Truly, it is the very presence of Jesus that brings hope, freedom, and life.
