Hey buddy really like your videos really helpful. I have just got myself xs 500 engine and am gonna rebuild it. Never done anything like this before but I guess theres nothing like throwing yourself in at the deep end right. I was just wondering about the electrical kit you got there for testing the engine any tips on were I might get one or what there called. Looks like a handy of kit. Cheers D
could you give some advice on the best way to split the crank case on the 650? i have a tool for cases left and right havles.but I can't find out the correct way to spilt my 650 .can you help .thanks 650wally!

@megawally09 With all the motors I have been into I have never split the cases. I do have one now that has a tranny issue so that one will be split but the 650 motor has a bulletproof lower end and I try to avoid doing work that I don't see mandatory. It helps keeping the budget down. Try going to XS650.com and asking there. Lots of great help there. Check back sometime later and I will post when I do split the case.

Hi. I made the ignition set up myself with basic items I had laying around. Run a search on wiring diagrams for your bike and train yourself on the basics of ignitons. Once you get to a certain point it all starts to make sense and becomes easy.
Good luck
