I was lucky enough to be shown around the building of a company which deals with surveillance and programming. This is the workroom of a person whose job it is to recover data from corrupted disks.

On another note, this is the first video I've uploaded from my new high-def camcorder.

  • how did u manage to get in there? was it by invetation or via someone you know or wateva...

  • That was one of the buildings which my dad used to maintain. He happens to be friendly with the guy who works in that room and so, on a day when I went to work with him, we went to that room.

  • It seems as if all these were a single computer as a supercomputer that great video. Terabit how much is the computer?

  • I'm not sure how much the combined storage capacity of these computers is, but, as you can see, they aren't all working (it's this person's job to recover data from them). However, in my Random HD Clips video, there's a clip from the same building where you can see a large number of servers with a total (combined) capacity of 10 terabytes.

  • You think I'm the owner of all this?

  • very interesting!

  • ho wow..... so no wonder our laptop takes forever to get fixed when we take it in.

  • I wouldn't mind this job myself, because I have a mini version of this in my room. About 1/20 scale, but none the less.

Think they can sell me a motherboard?

  • This looks like someone from an anime called Lain

  • This looks something like from Serial Experiments Lain :D

  • is that octo sli at 2:21?

  • What year is the video from? Was he demonstrating multi-monitors? If so, he may be a bit behind the times because Windows 98 supported multiple monitors (technically even DOS could support more than one!)

  • It's fun that the guy shows you compiz on his linux desktop. Neat feature.

  • omg I have the same setup as 1:28 lol and this place looks like mah room =D

  • OMG That looks similar to my office and I have the exact same monitor setup as on 1:28 with Windows XP ! that place is really cool
