Datsyuk Shootout Move-NHL 09 PS2-Best on Youtube

According to what I have seen, this is the most accurate version of the "Datsyuk" move on youtube. It looks very similar to the move against Nashville.

So, If you have a PS2 and have NHL 08 or 09 (have no idea if it will work for other games) and want to do this move, this is how:

Go to the gameplay settings in the opening page of the game and go to where is says puck control. When you find it, put the bar all the way down to the bottom so you will only be able to deke a few times before you lose the puck. Set the controller to classic or custom and then go to the shootout mode.

First off choose a lefty, then go on to play

So when you get the puck this is what you have to do:

1: Skate forward and just a BIT to the left(like in the video) while holding speed burst till you hit the circles

2: Once you come to JUST inside the circles let go of the speed burst

3: Right after you let go of the speed burst move the right analog stick to the right and then to the left as shown in the video. When you move the puck to the left with the

right analog stick, hold it there.

4: while you are holding the puck to your left, start moving to the right as shown(with the left analog stick). When you start to move to the right, if you have done everything correct so far the goalie should move to the far left side of the net (like in the video) while you move to the right

5: This is where its a little tricky: when the goalie is moving to the left and you the right, press and hold the WRIST shot button while still holding the right analog stick to the left and moving to the left.

6: You will continue moving left and while holding all those buttons, when you come to the point where you are starting to go past the right post, aim with the left analog stick right before you shoot, to the left side(preferably corner) and once it is there: you can let go of the wrist shot button and if you did all what I said correctly, you will have done the "Datsyuk Shootout Move!"

When trying to do the move, try to match the steps with the video the see just when to do what you have to do.

@HockeyFan7374 Yes, you can. :D I did it yesterday and you can do it with a righty, it's just opposite of the lefty version. It's easier to do it with a lefty, in my opinion.
