Mario was allways one of the greatest voice and Opera star that ever lived in our time

I know I'm an idealist, but if more opera singers nowadays would take time like Mario Lanza to sing some American classics or even show us what a real voice can do with pop standards, people's ears would open up to what singing really is and can be. After hearing Mario Lanza sing "Make Believe", it's as if no singer today know how to sing properly. They seem to scream through their noses and have their vocals pitch corrected into robotic voices.
