I have a Fox right now as a courtesy car. Check out the little vid I did of the "build quality". I have a Mk5 Golf and the Fox is rubbish in every way. Built like crap. Handles like crap. Steering is vauge. Gearbox is nice however the clutch action is impossibly horrible. It's slow and noisy, I also found it more uncomfortable than my Golf which has coilovers (which are set quite low).
I am a VAG enthusiast through and through and defend anything VW to the death - but not this. It's a shambles.

@alyr315 You clearly aren't aware of the built quality of a VW, at 70mph it's smooth like a baby's ass. and this bad boy is a 4 star safety rating, you'd be long dead in your ford expedition. looks can be deceiving as the fox may look small but it's a real safe car

I own a Fox and I think it's a brilliant car. The name alone is cool and best describes what the car is like, it's small and agile like a fox, when I drive it it's so easy to drive and doesn't feel sluggish. Highly recommend this car. =)

Americans are wacko. SUV= poor handling, tippy, poor braking, likely to kill other people in an accident in less less excessive cars, poor fuel efficiency, more pollution... basically a self fish and excessive vehicle.

The brazilian version have a 1.6lt engiene and a top speed of 125 mph, have a lot of room inside, but not that good at handling
