@hollywoodspen Well it's kinda obvious that she went from Enlisted to Officer. My OIC has been in the Navy for 22 years and is a Lieutenant Commander, after spending over 10 years as Enlisted.

Coming from a long line of military veterans does not make talking shit about an officer or belittling her 20 years of service not disrespectful. If you haven't already joined the military you'll quickly realize making snide remarks like that won't be appreciated.

@TheEpisteme Don't talk to me about being disrespectful I am far from disrespectful I am far from disrespectful. I come from 3 generations of military forefathers. I have know 5 WWI vets, one MOH recipient. I am far from disrespectful towards the people of the military.

@patwas42 If you watched the video you would have heard that was what she did. She may have gone into STA-21 or something. I can't even imagine why you would immediately talk shit about an O-3 with 20+ years of service and not consider that maybe she put in some dedicated hard work for 15 years before she was commissioned. Even if she had been an officer for 20 years thats still disrespectful.

@TheEpisteme Well if she was in for 20 years and she only advanced 2 ranks then we have and issue. My mother made commander in 20 years and father made captain in 25. Unless she want from enlisted to officer.

Actually that would be the chair force that has the lowest standards. In the navy we do PT 3 times a week.
