I so did the way that this was framed with the snowy mountains. Dang this thing had lots of power. I have seen some UP grain trains on Donner Pass that have an insane amount of power

98 cars in total, with 70 ahead of the swing helpers and 28 following. Interesting to say the least. Power consists of that many are rare now adays, especially with the high horsepower, A/C traction locomotives of today.

The train is hauling soda ash (from Southern Wyoming), not grain. How do I know? The cars (TILX). Grain trains over the Blues use a variety of UP/CNW and other leasers. I acquired these pearls of wisdom from working at Hinkle for several years. Cheers!
