The result of a 1 week module called Embodied Interaction, given at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (Eindhoven University of Technology) at the department of Industrial Design.
We were asked to design an embodied device that would control sound.
The ball inside the tube is sensed, allowing for inherent feedback by feeling the weight of the mass inside. By moving the ball around the inside of the tube, different kinds of sounds are produced.
Pitch is controled by the location of the ball, Volume is controlled by the speed of rotation.
