Locals Battle Adgainst Blackwater on the Border

On Wednesday, June 11, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Locals Rallied Outside the New Blackwater Training Facility, speakers included, Jeremy Scahill, Blackwater Author. The Rally took place at 7685 Siempre Viva Rd, San Diego, CA 92154.

The public was invited to express their views about the miscarriage of local laws, the inappropriate use of mercenaries for public security training, and the desire to have the facility shut down in Otay Mesa, California. For many who were successful in blocking Blackwater's attempt to build a more than 800 acre para-military facility in Potreo, California, Blackwater represents the ultimate expression of the worst decisions made by the Bush administration and their extreme privatization agenda.

I love the sign "Enough Blood for Oil". If in 2003 we went to Iraq for oil then where in the hell is my cheap oil? It is 2011..... it has been 8 years!! The U.S. still pays full price for military vehicles in Iraq! The U.S. also does not use any of the Iraqie oil for our own? Where is my cheap gas?
