The video is of a short 20 mile cross country flight from Currituck County Airport (Kitty Hawk Kites airpark site). At about the three minute mark you will hear an single engine aircraft caught by surprise by my presence - I was a good ten miles out from the airport - take some evasive action (did not pick it up on camera). About four minutes in the video I get rocked by a little turbulence. I am heading to a soy field and if you look closely at the lower right hand corner you will see a swirling pattern in the soy leaves (strong thermal). The other glider in the video is a Moyes Xtralite piloted by Kitty Hawk Kites instructor Zack. I was flying a Northwing Freedom.
