This is a sparse, modal, droney yet funny ballad. The protagonist finds a way to beat his lazy wife but with a clear conscience! The arrangement is taken straight from Cath & Phil Tyler's version of the song from their album Dumb Supper...Thanks Guys! Phil Tyler plays it on Guitar and Cath's vocal is spine tingling. By the way, a WETHER is an old term for a Castrated Ram!!

Maybe it is a little obscure but perhaps you have a role in bringing it into the public domain. My consious influences would include the usual suspects Beatles, Dylan etc. My recent interest was inspired by a positive reaction to a 3 chord treatment of Dylan's Blowin in the Wind that I gave in college for my mentorship training. The fact that I sang it with passion probably made ammends for my technical inabilities lol!
