Well you can see when the camera zoom very close at 0:30 that the 2 male characters at left the 1 and the 2 behind the only diference is the hood

Barbarians use light armor, not cloth armor.
For example, my HOX use robes because its a mage and use cloth armor.

I believe they are bland for a reason. Realism, cause in real life armor from and the era in the Conan story line isn't all sparkle and glowy. thats just what I think, but the creators stated that they where going for realism.
