"Who`s startin`?"...says it all: they never rehearsed, they never played together before....and blew it all away - ears inclusive. Recorded on tape as it came down. Playable at maximum volume only! Headphones strictly recommended! Thanks 20DeziBill for the pictures! Rory Gallagher Tribute by Brute Force and Ignorance (BFI)- recorded Leeuwarden 2006. Guest: Barry Barnes from Sinnerboy (UK). Also see BFI with a great version of "Crest of a Wave".

  • OMG! Expected some lame bedroom cover..

    Old(er) guys can rock.

    Best cover I've ever heard.

Vocalist's voice is even better than the guitar.

Please tell me where you play in the UK so I can come & see you.

  • Thank you for your kind words.

I think BFI is playing the Cavern Club / Liverpool Sept. 27. 2008.

  • we all have our own opinions ;) LOL

  • Barry Barnes; marvellous and ballsy!!!!!! Sinnerboy!!!!

  • Man, still enjoy this after all those years.

    It's awesomeeeeee!

  • was there had a great night

  • Nice to read you still make music, and I will certainly try your link and let you know.

Also great that young musicians value classics too. As I always thought, good and touching music will always survive... ;-)

  • Tongue in cheek as always. I'm 49 this year. Two years ago a friend put a band of mates together for a charity event and now we play pub rock 1-2 times a month - we actually tun down work because people like the old stuff; try my links for some average music.

Rory was the Biz; I have his Irish tour DVD but still keep looking for his best recorded performances.

Watched a band of 20 year olds in my local pub last night, and they're still playing classics like this.

    Rock on.

  • Boy do I get pissed seeing this, I live nearby Leeuwarden and missed out on this one....

They sound realy great, and Mallott2402 ofcourse older guys can rock......how come this suprises you??? What age do you think Rory would be now (61) and what about Jimmy Page, Keith Richard, etc.....lol ;-)

  • `EXCELLENT`

  • Spot on here Duck; enjoyed it.
