  • What church do you attend?

  • @maddie7111 I believe denominations is a stumbling block to the true Body Of Christ. I have my own devotion although I believe where 2 or 3 (+) gather in Jesus Christ's name is a good thing. I just haven't been able to find a church in my area that isn't apostasy in one way or another. Mainly on the sabbath issue as I believe the Bible 7th day (sabbath) as Jesus, the apostles, and all the true biblical prophets kept, is Gods 10 commandments still 2 b observed. I AM NOT A SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST.

  • @maddie7111 The RCC was formed 350 years AFTER Jesus ascended to the Father. Christ did not form the RCC; this is only man's ideas. God's word is eternal. Jesus said I am the same yesterday, today and forever, I change not. The RCC changes "the word of god" all of the time, but it is not the God of the Bible they speak for. Maddie, I pray that you will read the Bible and compare it with the teaching of the RCC. You will see that the two are not even close. I am praying for you.

  • @kytekuttertv Just because one doesn't observe the seventh day that doesn't mean they are not Christians. There is something greater than the sabbath revealed and that is our Lord Jesus Christ, in Him we find true rest. A day will come when God will call all Christians from all denominations. Just because some Christians follow incorrect doctrines do not let that stop you from fellowshipping with them. Pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

  • @maddie7111 You find the same time period in Dan 7:25; 12:7; Rev 11:3; and as "forty two months" in Rev 11:2 and Rev 13:5. If you multiply 42 months times 30 (for the # of days in a month), you get 1260 days. And "times" means 1, "times" means 2, and "half a time" means 0.5, obviously. So you get 3 and a half years which equals 1260 days (remember the Jewish calender has 30 days in every month). In conclusion, this has nothing to do with Mary when you compare these periods with other verses.

  • @maddie7111 And also, your interpretation of the woman in Rev 12 as Mary is wrong. In the first verse she is clothed with the sun, moon, and a garland of 12 stars on her head. This is a clear symbol of this woman being God's church. Then if you read verse 6, this woman flees to the wilderness for 1260 days, and in verse 14 it says for "a time, times and half a time." They are the same time period when you calculate using the Jewish calender.

  • @maddie7111 Okay first of all, yes Jesus honored Mary, His earthly mother to be our example in how we are are to honor our mother and father, as the fifth commandment says (Exodus 20:12). And second, no where in Scripture are we ever commanded to pray or worship Mary, make graven images of Mary, or that she is a mediator between humans and Jesus. Instead Jesus is our only mediator between man and God.

  • @kytekuttertv Anyways, concerning the denomination issue, when you study the Bible, God gave the truth to a group of people (the Israelites). Then when Jesus came it was the early Christians who received the truth. These Christians were supposed to be united as "one body" of the truth. Plus, the Gospel is to be preached throughout the whole earth as you see in the Three Angel's Messages (Rev. 14:6), thus this has to be a worldwide movement, not just one little non-denominational church.

  • @kytekuttertv Well you should study the teachings of adventism more and ask God's Spirit to guide you because one of the features of God's people is that they have the gift or the Spirit of Prophecy (Rev. 12:17; 19:10; 22:9). And that was fulfilled through the life of Ellen White, and maybe even more prophets may show up in the future (see Joel 2:28,29).
