No it's not.
This generation (anyone born in the 80's or sooner) will live a shorter life expectancy than the previous generation. Where did you get your information??

On top of that, the methane from thier shit is creating more global warming than all the cars trucks and planes combined, and the meds they give the animals are creating epidemic amounts of heart disease, cancer, infertility, you name it!
And you see no problem wiht this?!!!
-
WOW
You are very ignorant.
1. there are 7 billion people who need to eat. Yep. But BECAUSE we raise SOOOO many animals for consumption, we are wasting TONS and TONS of grains and water to feed those animals, rather than giving it to the 5 billiob starving PEOPLE. The resouces used to keep the factory farmed livestock take away the amount the land can produce for US.

Horrible!!! There is no need for this! and so much food is wasted every day!! But the cruelty is beyond belief!!! Do not understand how this is allowed!

What exactly is that machine doing to the chicks? Is it RFID chipping them, severing the nerve that tells them when they've eaten enough, or stamping them?
-
Good lord if only I knew prior to eating them 30 seconds ago.
-
wow.. and now?
look its quite simple we are with 7 billion people and we need to eat. if we didn't have this special breed of chicken I bet we would have much more trouble than we do now. ofcourse its quite sad its needed.. I've breedt and slaughtered a lot of chickens at work and as long as they do it the way it should I don't see big problems in it.

How can you trust a company that makes food so cheaply? And let me tell you, it's NOT for a little price...Salmonella hurts around 40,000 people every year in the U.S. alone. Try looking a bit further than what's on your plate. There are consequences for every short cut we take. The air we breathe is being polluted by the mass livestock farms' waste...I'm telling you, we are digging our own grave, people!-----Ok, i'm done.

@QUESTED ---Yes, let's also thank them for pumping us full of hormones and antibiotics that make us immune to disease fighting medicines. Did you know that factory farms are using 70% of the country's antibiotics so their livestock doesn't die from infection from standing in their own shit all day? Let's give them a big thank you, at the expense of these little baby chicks and millions of other animals that fear for their lives from the second they're born.
