And they figured if they did fire him, even without cause, his "reputation" (which is mainly just right-wing propaganda) would give them an out, and everyone would blame HIM. But those of us who watched know better.

Keith should cut a deal with YouTube and run his own channel here. Get two cameras, direct his own editing and insert ads that pay him and a couple of writers/assistants. Cut the bosses, corp bs and FCC regulation and reach a worldwide audience of millions. I'd watch.

I enjoy Keith's comments and his show will leave you in stitches AND have you a little bit more informed, but he does have a record with employers. MSNBC canned him not once but TWICE. And if it's saying anything, I couldn't watch Countdown without Keith, even with Rachel Maddow as a sub. But everything Fred has said is true. I still think Current should give him another chance, just like MSNBC did.

The very first time I heard Kieth was a "Special comment" I came across online in 2005 I think,It was about the obvious inside job of 911. I burst into tears because I had never heard a true thing on network news in years,and started watching MSNBC every night to see him. We need his voice. He has huge ....amounts of courage! LOL! I really miss him.
