it wudnt bother me if gerrard wasn't so anti-diving but he's a hypocrite at least ronaldo and drogba don't come out and say stupid things then go and do it themselves

I'm a liverpool fan and i laughed at this vid. Gerrard's like everybody else, he dislikes diving because it's ruining the game, but when it's advantageous for him to dive to get a penalty for his club or country he will do so. Some players just dive for no reason like Nani....rolling around on the floor like they've been shot....i find that more embarrassing to be honest. Just to make a point of non bias i'd also put Suarez in that category as well as most of the Barcelona team.

@FortressFortuna 1. was a dive because gerrard didn't want the team to win a foul, 2. was a dive too because gerrard was trying to win a penalty but unfortunetly the goalkeeper would've hit stevie anyway, and the 4. was ALSO a dive because ronaldo didn't cleanly hit gerrard with his arm or was trying to hold him back, but it's still not a reason to go down, especially dramatic like this

@tombamann just a point... his quote on ronaldo and carvalho is not about diving, it's about confronting and intimidating a referee to get another player sent off (i.e. Rooney World Cup 06). And while as a Liverpool fan I don't deny that he goes to ground too easily in each of those videos, what he does not do is intimidate and abuse referees to try and get another player sent off, then wink at the bench when it works :P
