NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. This is a fan made video that I created because I enjoy both the show and the song. Credit where credit is due:

Song: "Fireworks" - The Tragically Hip
Footage: Corner Gas
1x06 - World's Biggest Thing
1x11 - Hook, Line, & Sinker
1x12 - Face Off
1x13 - I Love Lacey
2x07 - Fun Run

In the process of making this, I realised that Corner Gas is a very hard show to vid for. Most of its charm and humour comes from the spoken dialogue and that - quite obviously - doesn't come across in a fanvid.

I tried!

  • Kids?

  • My message wasn't directed at you personally, just at anyone who might read your comment and decide to take up a personal crusade.

... until I did a major clean-up, the comment thread for this video had turned into a rather nasty America versus Canada debate. D:

  • oh, yeah i see the debate now..and sorry for that comment it was very...childish XD

  • i miss this show

  • @heartsthatbleed87 I live in Buffalo NY and in the late 80's canadian stations came in perfect and I was exposed to this original music. They never even bothered with trying to be marketable in the United States;consequently, Alot of Americans still not living on border states know nothing of this band. I feel like its our best kept secret in music in North America.

  • Makes me proud to be Candian!

  • I'm an Albertan living in England and while trying to cure my homesickness with Youtube videos, I found this gem. Good job. I'm cured :)
