366 are a great work hoarse, its a tall deck so not much you can do for perf. They will run for ever & take alot of abuse!,I would shorten the frame put on newer carb without the governor & enjoy it, lots of possibilities :)

First off great find love it and hope to see more. I know why he wants to swap carbs because the factory Holleys that came facory on the truck are garbage and Im a Holley fan been running them for over 20 years they have no Power valve “blowout” protection so one bad backfire will make it run like shit untill the power-valve is replaced, The Vacuum secondaires never seem to work properly. A newer Holley or Edelbrock and HEI Dizzy if not already Is a must
