13 GHOSTS II

Unfortunatley this is more or less a 'slideshow'. I hope you'll forgive me for that, a lot of time, hard work and passion went into the photography and because of the nature of my work on the project and my lack of film editing knowledge it seemed best to keep it as photographic stills.

However I must say I really enjoyed this photographic experiment to sound and was pretty blown away by how much the song inspired me. i.e. From listening to the track for the first time then finding myself led by the song on a 6 hour trek through the woods, climbing trees, knee deep in marshes, hanging off river banks, etc, etc, all with a massive pair of headphones on playing GHOSTS, trying to convey the feeling the song and the woods gave me.

All photos are original and taken by myself, some photoshop work has gone into them but limiting myself to photographic darkroom effects - crossprocessing, light-levels and cropping. The woods that day was a strange mixture of warm and cold, rough and soft, sharp and smooth, wet and dry, dark and light, something I felt from the music and have tried to convey in my images. Although I would say that the slideshow thing has been overused by alot of people, I still watched the whole thing... and your photos were definitely great. I might even go as far as to say that this has been the best slideshow added, but that's all left to opinion.

Nice work. I love the tune, beautifully minimalistic. I find something incredibly comforting about it, often listen to it when I go to sleep at night, helps me relax.

These are excellent photographs. You're obviously a professional.

Further, this masterpiece tune goes best with still, or atleast "calm" photos best.
