Flooding in Cancun Before Ida

Saturday November 7th in the afternoon, downtown Cancun. Waiting for Ida to arrive on Sunday. This was shot near Supermanzana 26, a couple of blocks away from Market 28, close to the Tacos Rigos restaurant.

Bashfl612, right now things are pretty calm actually, cloudy with a light breeze and light rain. (It's 8:38 am CST). I expect we'll see more rain today, but I don't foresee any huge impact from Ida.

katbunz26, the video was taken on "Las Playas" avenue, near Supermanzana 26 (a couple of blocks from Market 28, very close to the sort of famous Tacos Rigos). I'll edit the description to add that, thanks.

Thanks for sharing that. We left Cancun on Sat. afternoon at 4:00 and are very curious about the conditions in Cancun and Playa del Carmen. I hope you post more video if you are still down there. Stay safe!!

Thanks for taking this footage, but it would've been nice to know exactly where this was. I know it's downtown, but where exactly? Is it near the Office Depot?
