I know this is a little late but I haven't been playing D&F with DFO so close to release.

Here's a very brief overview of the Korean version's cash shop. Some of the features are relatively new and may not be included in the North American version (such as being able to browse other classes' items), but otherwise this should be pretty spot on.. assuming nothing changes!

The bulk of the cash shop is Avatar items, and each character has nine slots worth that they can wear (head, hair, face, neck, chest, belt, pants, feet, and skin). Comparing the Slayer to the Female Gunner, you can see who's been out longer; Slayer has 20+ pages worth of items while Female Gunner merely has 5!

Apart from Avatars, you can also purchase items like HP/MP consumables, continue coins, guild name change deeds, auction deeds (so you can sell cash shop items on the auction house), megaphones so you can yell server-wide messages, contracts to effectively boost your level by five (allowing you to temporarily train better skills and wear better gear), items to reset your skills, and so on.

There are also pets, and I figured people would like to see all of them (because c'mon, who doesn't love pets?). They offer various stat bonuses and some of them have individual skills, but I've never done any translating on them. They need to be fed with items from the cash shop. These aren't all the pets in the game; some event packages also include them.

On the topic of events, one is underway at the moment in D&F, so I skimmed over the available packages. Event packages usually include not only a complete avatar set, but also consumables, coins, and in this case, a mini-Lotus pet.

I should throw this update out here. After finally experiencing the DFO beta client, it looks like we are NOT going to be getting the Korean style cash shop. Instead, we will be getting Arad Senki's (the Japanese version) gachapon system. This really only pertains to avatars; instead of hand-picking our items and their stats, we will buy tokens from the cash shop, put them into the gachapon machine, and receive an avatar piece at random. Kind of a bummer. The other items like shop contracts, continue coins, and consumables will still be available for purchase via the normal cash shop.

The beauty of this is that the majority of people who frequent YouTube don't bother to read comments before they post.. hey, kinda like you did! So annotation spam will still catch a few of the idiots. All according to plan.

To my knowledge, Korean cash shop was always like this. It's undergone a few cosmetic changes but that's it.
