Butterfly Idolz Talent Showcase April 8th, 2011

As someone who watched my friend (Briana Pitt-Fullerton 18 year old) fight for her life with the many ups and downs of lupus and loosing all ten toes due to complications. I now teamed up with the Lupus Foundation of America to spread awareness. I have seen firsthand the impact this disease has on lupus patients and their families. Lupus is a significant, life-diminishing and life-threatening disease that can cause considerable damage to any vital organ of the body.

Lupus has long been under funded and there is little to no awareness of this disease that affects so many. There has been no new treatment approved for lupus in 52 years but there is hope. For the first time in more than five decades, we are on the brink of having the first new treatment for lupus. And with the help of companies such as yours who are committed to helping their community, we can make a difference today in the lives of those living with lupus.

We would like to thank you for taking the first step in helping to make a difference. Thank you in advance for your consideration. The funds we raise through this event will be focused on serving those impacted by this disease in the South Florida and are sorely needed.
