Cobus is amazing. We found his drum cover videos over a year ago, and have always been impressed with his musicianship, skill, and passion. @aBuruBuruGuy im assuming it was once a spatula. I dont even know the technical term but in germany we call it "besen" which translates into broom. It was used first in jazz music and I imagine a lot of ragtime and jazz bands back in the day where the drumers used all sorts of stuff they could find in the house, could have been a spatula or other cooking supplys :D
