Thank GOD for you! I have covered this song live for ages and in August of last year I did a studio recording of it which I gave out for free, but I ended up putting it on my boxed set this year and you can buy it on iTunes. I had no idea who originally wrote it and I just figured, crap, if someone catches on I'll send them a belated compulsory license and a royalty check. But now I can get on the ball with that! Of course I got tons of lyrics wrong...artistic license!

Most people understood that I meant songs by a recording artist and I NEVER said they weren't valid!!

This is one of those originals (we think - we're pretty sure!) that could have passed for a real song. I even looked around, but couldn't find it done by anyone. It's such a well-written, cool song!
