My friend and I watched this episode on the Science Channel with a different narrator and cracked up about halfway through.

It feels so wrong to be laughing at something like this, but we couldn't help it at all. So relax, chill out, and enjoy.

The thing is they don't show males get chucked into the grinder, or what happens to the chicks that get stuck in the machinery and get seriously injured then are left to die of their injuries, or how their beaks get cut off, or the ends of their toes getting cut off with scissors. They hardly show anything of the real process, probably because it's too gruesome and would make the companies look bad. They never show how they really treat the animals in meat production. I have 3 chickens as pets at home!

We keep them in a coop and everything, and they just started laying eggs recently.

If you're interested in getting one, I can give you sites about chicken care, but they're very easy to take care of, very loving and cute, but they poop a lot (especially as babies, not so much as adults). :) very hard not to get attached to.
