  • @Ghoopty I'm very sorry to hear that, may I suggest opening your third eye?

  • @KeithHarbaugh Are you referring to the ingenious contraption know as the electric jug?

  • @KeithHarbaugh I totally agree

  • @buzz88270 Well that's a shame, the electric jug is a large part of what makes the 13th Floor Elevators the 13th Floor Elevators.

  • I'd like to point out that if you have the internet capabilities to view this website then you most certainly have the capabilities to look up the lyrics.

  • ...the electric jug and the brilliant man behind it.

  • I'm starting to dig this.

  • @ShapelyDice That's very true, but the 13th Floor Elevators used the words 'Psychedelic rock' on their business cards in Jan 66.........It is hard to pin down the first usage of the phrase for a music band, but Holy Modal Rounders,The Fugs and the 13th Floor Elevators have to be up there at the top......Rock on Rocky!!!! Rollercoaster!!!! ;-)

  • @PyramidHeadX It's called "convenience"

  • Oh how I love some electric jug. For real.

  • Are you saying "one black, one bullet"? Wach it -

  • @thesonsofmod Elevators were most likely the second or third band to use the word "psychedelic" on a record. The Deep's Psychedelic Moods is said to have been released in October of 1966, beating out the early November 1966 release of the Blues Magoos' Psychedelic Lollipop and the late November 1966 release of the Psychedelic Sounds of the 13th Floor Elevators. No matter, though. 13th Floor Elevators are still one of the grooviest out there.

  • @PyramidHeadX I'm not sure that's covered by my HMO.........
