I live on the top floor of our apartment building... would NOT reccommend it unless you're looking to gain some muscle fast!

whew! moving a matress up those 68 stairs made me feel like the hulk. Jus' sayin.

if they both have windows. take the downstairs for the conviences of getting in and out. but if only the upstairs has windows then deff take that one. i think sunlight is pretty essential.

I would choose the upstairs apartment. The reasons? It's safer, you have better privacy and normally it will have a better view.

It has prettier views and it's also harder for the burglars to come in LOL

And, of course, if you hate your downstairs neighbor you can always smash things on the floor (causing loud noises) as a revenge hahaha :D

Downstairs... You can come in and out of the building easily and quickly, also, you don't have to worry about having to walk/run quietly and distrub the people below you... on the ground floor you can jump about like a mad man - not that you'd wanna.

Upstairs, you'll feel more free, and you'll probably have a cool view. Also, you wont hear people above you walking around.

Having said that, personally i'd go with upstairs. You feel more free...

how far upstairs? the vivifying vibe of the earth does not extend much past the third floor. Unless the ground level is just damp crap or something. Then fly away
