@INI eptuneaus I have to agree...she was an original.....I don't think there is an actress around who can compete Sharon........unless the other great beauties of that time bore femaleoffspring I'm talkin about Rochel welsh, and Anne Margarate just to name a few.

That's not at all what happened. Manson came during the day when Sharon's photographer was present. She did come face to face with Manson like above, but it occurred outside. The photographer said the same thing that Frykowski said. I believe the director did it this way to give it a little more suspense.

Gee that really looks like Sharon doesn't it...She's just as gorgeous...It would have been so hard for Hollywood to just 'carry on' after this dreadful crime... they have done a very good job casting...Sharon is incredible...Who is this actress?

the theme of the book is bs but actual events seem to be true enough, there's far too much to this whole story than would fit into a movie.

There's a lot of really interesting comments on this page. I do think this was a great movie, in spite of some obvious discrepancies. It does follow along with the book, very well. It all depends on if you believe Bugliosi. It is the version in that book, just like Sid and Nancy was based on Nancy's mother's estimation of their experience...both very true to the books, which is all they were asked to be. Thanks for the post. Love Jeremy in everything he does...
