I've just finished watching all of your videos in one extended sitting. Keep up the great work, so many people try to explain these ideas without every putting them in ways that the majority can understand.
I'll look forward to any future videos you release for certain and I wish you the best of luck and health.

Great video!! I only wish I had the patience to do art. Stumbledupon your Open-mindedness video, and began watching many of the others, as you can see. Great Channel! It's good to see someone out there educating and making valid points instead of shouting, cursing, while blaspheming; which does not prove a thing. Your style is great, and your videos are wise, I hope to be able to view them all soon.

This is amazing, too bad you disabled the ratings :(

Wow, Qualiasoup this is really marvelous! all the intermediate stages are their own works of art, it is beauty in 4D. some of the more impressionist looking stages are my favorites, and i am glad that feeling remained in the final image. (...though, i suppose this video is the final product isn't it? not merely the last slide.)

aha! So you too are brothers, I didn't know if it was the same guy or just wth.
You're both great, and this was just unexpectedly excelent.

this is one of the sickest videos i seen on youtube.. wow.

I'm not sure why you've disabled ratings on this, but your painting is magnificent.
Excellent work, Doug! 5* even though they are disabled. I'm so envious that you can paint, and then provide your own background music too!!
More please! :-)

Thanks, Rob! I'd sort of given up on the idea of doing another one, but now you mention it, it might be fun to crowbar a speed painting into another video. You've got me wondering... ;^>

As an illustrator, cartoonist and artist I must say your skill with paint is commendable. What sort of process do you go by in painting? It doesn't look like the envelope, but then you never know.
Either way, excellent videos and I applaud your willingness to post something this personal, considering the varied nature of your audience.

That's very kind, BluegrassAtheist. Thank you. It's funny. Now you ask me, I can't really say I have a process. With figurative paintings, I lay down a structure, then instinctively add what colour / texture I feel is needed. I let more abstract work grow almost completely organically.
My channel was originally going to be devoted to art and music, but when my brother (TheraminTrees) started getting hatemail for being an atheist, it seemed there were more urgent subjects to explore...(!) ;^>

Many thanks for this video (and all the others). As someone almost entirely innocent of the visual arts, it was utterly fascinating to see an original work in the process of realisation.
