This track appears to have been a part of the Peel Session but was strangely omitted from the track listing of the official release.

  • Maybe it's the subliminal influence of the visuals in this clip, but this is the first BoC piece where I really think, "yeah! This here is a Scottish thing!" (At least after 4.00 or so.) Kind of piobaireachd.

  • Absolutely wonderful...

Great music, beautiful and evocative images, and the dulcet tones of the legendary John Peel...what more could you want?

  • @Tetsuoha

    I CAN NOT STOP LAUGHING

  • They are satanist zionists.

  • this reminds me of ecco the dolphin music

  • @prefusehead maybe they both went deaf /blind or their hands got chopped off

  • @hehfilms chinook was released in 1996, this is 1998

  • @joshjcheetham....althought Boards of Canada are amazing artists and I've been a fan for well over a decade, there is nothing scary going on here. Just microtones, poly rhythms, and sonic experimentation. Put down the meth pipe and give another listen...

  • After listening to this for around 7 mins I swear something flicked a switch in my head - literally the most surreal experience I've ever had from listening to a song. Can't explain it but I know something's different. Anyone else had a similar experience? Love these guys, but damn this is scary!

  • @eaulon It's not really inimitable then, is it?

  • @machinevsfascist He didn't really get it from anywhere really. The "BoC Set" has been in the works since the Old Tunes saga and sources close to the band (MDG on twoism.org) indicated the band was supposed to release new material in 2011 but outside forces caused a delay. Naturally this would lead one to the conclusion that new material is in the works.

  • @xinjinbei He was awarded the "Order of the British Empire" or O.B.E. :)
